Course content was made from Sound Physics lead faculty, including:
👨🏽‍💼
Arvyn De, a national gold medalist in Science Olympiad, founder of ScioVirtual, and biomedical engineering student at Georgia Tech. Arvyn has taught numerous physics courses at ScioVirtual.
👨🏽‍🔬
Ishaan Singh, top 10 national physics competitor in Science Olympiad nationals and member of Carmel Science Olympiad. Ishaan taught Musical Acoustics and Sound Physics.

Welcome to Sounds of Music, the pleasant (or unpleasant) marriage between wave physics and music theory, depending on your interests.

This guide will be looking at the knowledge portions of the Division B and C event specifically:

  1. General principles of acoustics
  2. Sound production
  3. Design, function, and construction of various instruments
  4. Music theory
